I am now serving in Berlin, which has been super cool. I am serving in the smallest area in all of Europe, which is the Tiergarten area, right in the middle of Berlin. My new companion's name is Elder Jensen.
It's been a great week! :D I love the people in the church. It's such an amazing experience to see how the church is the same here. That's one of the testimonies to me that this is the Lord's gospel, the fact that it has the same effect on everyone, and we all come closer as a people to become one in purpose and one in Christ.
We did a lot of planning this week, as well as going by on contacts. I've learned so thoroughly on the mission the importance of planning. Every good thing comes from diligence, and planning is an aspect of that.
A super cool scripture that I found this week was in 2nd Nephi , and I love the promise the Lord gives us, that when we are righteous and we pray that others will have the opportunity to find the happiness of the gospel and the happiness from Jesus Christ, that they will have the chance to find it, and that our prayers will work for their good.
Something that I have realized especially out on the mission, is how repetetive our prayers sometimes get, and I know that the Lord wants to hear more from us. I would challenge you all to do something this week to make your prayers more effective, and to study the purpose of prayer. The power of prayer is so strong, and we can see miracles in our lives through the power of prayer.
I love you all, and I'm so grateful for you all, and I am so grateful for all your emails and for everything that I hear from you all. May the Lord uphold and keep you this week.
